A Fertile Escape
In April Kirra Jamison took a break from her Melbourne studio and life to enjoy a month long residency at The Art Park Byron Bay.
Originally from Byron, Kirra appreciated the opportunity to again fill her days with the sunrise, yoga, the ocean, and of course plenty of studio time. Surrounded by rainforest and water, Kirra commented that she was inspired to work more with green than she usually would.
Kirra’s body of work from the residency was recently shown in her solo show Drink, Salt, Moon, at Sophie Gannon Gallery.
