The importance of art in living spaces

Contemporary Editions asked stylist Megan Morton, who recently chose Robert Malherbe's work for our 'In the Studio' series, for her thoughts on the role of art in our everyday lives at home.

Megan Morton: For me it's the true way to make your space your own, especially in the #roominspo times of now with so much copy-cating design. For me art in the home is even more vital than in public … to restore, resolve and repair at the end of each day. Plus let's not forget the feel-good factors: firstly how your heart beats faster when you lay eyes on it, and secondly the direct investing you make to a creative community and this in turn generates more beautiful work. It's a beautiful full circle.
